Responsabilities

• Management and handling of all tasks related to OT security for the Petrobrazi Refinery, taking into account the implementation of OSMS (OT Security Management System) for the safe and reliable operation of the facility and the entire communication infrastructure, checks, decides, and takes measures to comply with legal provisions for automation equipment regarding OT security.

• Management and handling of all tasks related to functional safety for the Petrobrazi Refinery, taking into account the implementation of FSM for the safe and reliable operation of the facilities, checks, decides, and takes measures to comply with legal provisions for automation equipment regarding functional safety.
• Ensures the integrity of processes and facilities and contributes to successful operations through proactive prevention, participation in problem-solving, and complex coordination requirements.
• Coordinates program activities with other operating and engineering units to facilitate the involvement of appropriate personnel in project execution. Reviews program-related documentation to ensure its accuracy.
• Coordinates the implementation of designated engineering solutions in accordance with global standards.
• Maintains relevant data and systems to ensure compliance and quality assurance by referring to legal and SSMM requirements.
• Works closely with management and stakeholders to determine program objectives and contribute to the development of a comprehensive project concept.
• Addresses and resolves complex engineering tasks and issues, providing technical expertise to operational management.
• Plans and executes technical audits of production processes and facilities.
• Works closely with authorities, internal and external stakeholders to ensure all necessary authorizations are in place.
• Independently supervises and coordinates all OT security projects/measures within approved investment programs (e.g., OT security plan). Independently responsible for recurring internal/external OT security audits to meet all relevant legal requirements (NIS law) and OSMS.
• Ensures compliance with OT cybersecurity norms and standards (OSMS).

Your profile

• Master's degree (university or university of applied sciences), specializing in automation/information technology
• Relevant practical professional experience in an equivalent position within the industry: more tha 7 years
• Knowledge of implementing relevant standards (EN, IEC, VDE, DIN, ATEX, etc.)
• Knowledge in the field of automation engineering and information technology
• Knowledge of functional safety and OT security
• Knowledge of measures for protection against explosions caused by electrical sources (ATEX)
• Team spirit, flexible, resilient, open to change
• Committed and enjoys technical challenges
• Conceptual thinking, responsible and solution-oriented, acting to maintain the reliability of refinery operations
• Very good IT skills and English language proficiency
