Your role

• Covers group-wide activities related to the design, development, implementation, and oversight of information and cyber security requirements and services. Develops and maintains the organization's IT and OT security policies and is responsible for managing risks related to information security, physical security, privacy, and compliance. Improves security incident management mechanisms and related processes.
• Evaluates and recommends hardware and software services to ensure an appropriate level of data protection, so that information systems are protected against unauthorized access and use. Assesses new demands, business requirements, and IT/digital services against IT and data security risks and threats.
• Manages and oversees all tasks related to OT security for the Petrobrazi Refinery, considering the implementation of the OSMS (OT Security Management System) for the safe and reliable operation of the plant and the entire communications infrastructure; checks, decides, and takes measures to ensure compliance with legal provisions for automation equipment concerning OT security.
• Manages and oversees all tasks related to functional safety for the Petrobrazi Refinery, considering the implementation of FSM (Functional Safety Management) for the safe and reliable operation of the facilities; checks, decides, and takes measures to ensure compliance with legal provisions for automation equipment regarding functional safety.
• Ensures the integrity of processes and facilities and contributes to successful operations through proactive prevention, participation in problem-solving, and handling complex coordination requirements.
• Coordinates program activities with other operational and engineering units to facilitate the involvement of appropriate personnel in project execution.
• Reviews program-related documentation to ensure its accuracy. Coordinates the implementation of designated engineering solutions in accordance with global standards.
• Maintains relevant data and systems to ensure compliance and quality assurance by reference to legal and HSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) requirements.
• Closely collaborates with management and stakeholders in determining program objectives to contribute to the development of a comprehensive project concept.
• Addresses and resolves complex engineering tasks and issues, providing technical expertise to operational management.

Your profile

• Master degree (Automation/ IT)
• Relevant professional experience: more tha 9 years

• Relevant practical professional experience in an equivalent position within the industry
• Advanced knowledge of implementing relevant standards (EN, IEC, VDE, DIN, ATEX, etc.)
• Advanced knowledge in the field of automation engineering and information technology
• Advanced knowledge of functional safety and OT security
• Thorough understanding of explosion protection measures for electrical hazards (ATEX)
• Team spirit, flexibility, resilience, openness to change
• Conceptual thinking, responsible and solution-oriented, acting to maintain the reliability of refinery operations
• Very good IT skills
• Advanced English language skills
