Your tasks

  • Management of the stakeholders as well as the specific processes required in the preparation and execution of the scope related to a refinery shutdown/turnaround in one or more areas of the refinery, acting as area coordinator, in accordance with the specific shutdown/turnaround structure.
  • Management of the scope at refinery level (services and materials): coordinating the parties in the proper definition of the requested works and their quantification in accordance with applicable standards/norms, as well as specific analysis for optimizing the volume of work to be executed. Monitoring scope variations throughout the preparation and execution period.
  • Definition, tracking, and monitoring of specific contracting processes related to the turnaround/shutdown scope.
  • Coordination/monitoring of the activity of identifying/ensuring/delivering the necessary materials.
  • Coordination of all parties involved in the process of verifying the executed works – acceptances and related processes.
  • Reporting all relevant incidents and the performance indicators related to the planning and execution of refinery shutdowns, as well as the results obtained.

 

Your profile

  • Graduate of long-term university studies, preferably in mechanical or industrial engineering;
  • At least 9 years of professional experience in planning, controlling, and executing refinery shutdowns;
  • At least 5 years of technical and leadership experience in maintenance activities and/or project management;
  • Excellent execution, interaction, and profit maximization skills;
  • Detailed expertise in planning and execution of refinery shutdowns;
  • Ability to manage highly complex processes and multidisciplinary teams;
  • Advanced expertise in project management;
  • Good understanding of the field of activity and its related interdependencies;
  • Specific IT knowledge (MS Office, SAP);
  • English language proficiency: fluent.
