Your tasks
- Support the ADMs and PMs in proper project set up with respect to equipment design, equipment arrangement/plot plan and piping in case of revamps by: safeguarding evaluation of existing (as built) status and; safeguarding check or preparation of as built 3D model; safeguarding evaluation of different alternatives for equipment arrangement and pipe routing
- Instruct engineering contractors in propper setup of all 3D planning tools and ensure adherence of OMV planning guidelines
- Evaluate 3D Plant model in respect of HSSE (requirements implemented, safe for day today work in terms of accessibility and operability)
- Contribute to cost estimations and schedules in early phases (e.g. preliminary MTOs)
- Contribute to regular update of codes & standards as well as standard contract body in the respective field
- Contribute to contractor selection, ITB preparation and bid comparisson in the respective field
- Participate in contractual workshops on codes& standards with engineering contractors in order the engineering contractors to understand specific neccesities resulting from company standards on PVF and pressure equipment (columns, reactors, vessels, heat exchangers) with respect to plant operability, accessability and maintainability, process safety, installation and operation costs
Your profile
- Master’s degree:Mechanichal Engineering or Technical Engineering,
- Relevant professional experience: > 7 years
- At least 7 years of relevant professional experience in oil & gas industry either with an operator, an engineering contractor, or an equipment/piping manufacturer
- Excellent specific plant design software skills (e.g., S3D Hexagon, E3D Aveva, etc.) an advantage
- Knowledge in following codes & standards an advantage (PED Pressure Equipment Directive, ASME B31.3 process piping and EN13480 “Metallische industrielle Rohrleitungen”)
- Experience in defining pipe classes and calculating pipe components, as well as performing simplified stress analysis in piping systems.
- International flexibility and willingness to travel as required by the project.
- Business fluent in English.
