Your tasks
- Monitors operational-performance of team activity, objectives and compliance with the company's existing principles, regulations and guidelines.
- Prioritizes and re-allocates operational activities in alignment with responsible line manager
- Supports implementation of projects and decisions; monitors project activities and milestones achievement, makes necessary alignments with other teams from the Petrobrazi Refinery.
- Efficiently manages for operational activities unexpected/stressful situations, time pressure and knows what, how, when and whom to escalate / follow up existing problems.
- Identifies problems, proposes alternatives and provide support to negotiate solutions with the involved parties.
- Supports junior colleagues by sharing technical knowledge
- Support and contribute to a stable and optimum operation of the plant units by keeping daily production monitoring, tanks scheduling and products specification and production.
- Domestic and import crude stock management to accommodate refinery throughput maximization, adaptation to various crude composition impacts on refinery product slate (crude assay update, lighter vs. heavier crude, Sulphur management, TAN and water impact)
Your profile
- Master’s degree: Refining and Petrochemicals or Automation.
- Relevant professional experience: > 7 years in one of the following activities: refining, planning & scheduling, supply, crude management
- Advanced knowledge for short term planning and scheduling tools;
- Excellent knowledge regarding refinery technological process;
- Improves as an ongoing priority his global industry knowledge, his deep knowledge of the operating process of the refinery and updates his knowledge with the latest juridical norms that might affect his domain of activity;
- Advanced knowledge on Project Management Conflict Management and Team Performance;
- Very good knowledge about the Change Management procedures;
- Knowledge about the quality and technical specifications of the raw materials and finished products.
- Advanced written and spoken communication skills in English
