Your tasks

• Lead the engineering function for LCB Renewables, managing a multidisciplinary team of senior engineers and technical experts to ensure high-quality, integrated technical solutions across all project phases.
• Set the strategic direction for engineering standards, design and contribute to maintaining updated process and procedures, technology integration in alignment with OMV Petrom policies and international best practices.
• Serve as the technical authority for engineering decisions, overseeing the development, validation, and optimization of designs, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure regulatory, grid, and internal compliance.
• Actively contribute to defining and implementing the company’s energy transition and decarbonization strategy by identifying new energy sources, emerging technologies, and strategic partnerships.
• Drive strategic initiatives that support the company’s transformation goals, including the integration of renewable energy solutions and digital readiness.
• Champion innovation and digitalization, including advanced SCADA systems, energy storage integration, and smart grid readiness
• Oversee the development, improvement and validation of engineering designs, specifications, and technical documentation for renewable/storage assets, ensuring compliance with regulatory and grid requirements.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with construction, operations, procurement, and HSSE teams to ensure a seamless approach to project execution and lifecycle performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment of engineering projects with broader corporate sustainability and innovation goals.
• Develop and mentor high-performing engineering talent, fostering a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
