Your tasks
- Lead and manage the Controlling Center of Excellence team, ensuring efficient, high quality delivery of controlling, planning and economic support to subsidiaries and Head Office
- Implement and ensure adherence to group wide controlling standards and guidelines, in alignment with the Head of Department Energy Controlling
- Ensure high quality, accuracy and consistency of management reporting and KPIs, continuously improving management information in cooperation with the Reporting Hub
- Drive harmonization of controlling, planning and economic processes across Energy ventures, supporting local finance teams in adopting standard approaches
- Promote best practices and lessons learned across Energy Finance, contributing to improved efficiency, transparency and quality
- Ensure excellent, service oriented support to all beneficiaries, positioning the CoE as a reliable and proactive partner for business and management
- Oversee controlling systems, reporting tools and databases, ensuring compliance with standards and supporting the effective use of SAP controlling solutions
- Implement and maintain Energy wide reporting standards and processes, including monthly and quarterly reporting cycles
Your profile
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering or equivalent
- Relevant professional experience: >9 years
- Management roles: with > 5 years of leadership experience
- Strong knowledge and experience in economics/business case modelling and/or related financial or technical disciplines.
- Solid understanding of the energy business
- Very good understanding of financial management, fiscal regimes, commercial terms, relevant contracts as well as planning processes
- Experience in relevant economic evaluation tools (in particular Planning Space Economics) and understanding of OMV planning and economics processes are beneficial
- Strong programming skills with experience in fiscal regime coding and strong Power BI skills
- Fluent in English
