Your tasks

• Leading the Digital Solutions with the responsibility to build, implement, transition, operate and maintain all services in the portfolio as well as support in evolving team maturity;
• Efficient delivery of IT services to Borealis Digital Solutions and support delivery to Borealis Group and execution of governance, controls and IT Services best practices, while managing suppliers by contract and based on their knowledge for cost efficient service delivery;
• Accounts for continuous development and improvement of Digital Solutions department’s activities/services, organization, processes and systems;
• Steering and monitoring all related development/improvement initiatives and projects in Digital Solutions department;
• Leading and developing Digital Solutions direct subordinates. Hires, coaches, trains and leads a high calibre and diverse team of experts;
• Responsible to support Borealis Digital Solutions in analysis and definition of technical roadmaps based on concrete business needs and reflecting relevant market developments;
• Coordinates and steers implementation and migrations to new technologies taking also fully into account change management and training aspects to ensure high degree of customer satisfaction, while increasing Digital Solutions maturity;
• Accountable for setting up controls and operational best practices to ensure highly usable and stable IT services.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree: IT;
• Relevant professional experience: more than 5 years in leadership;
• Solid knowledge of planning and economics, controlling, finance and financial management (portfolio mgmt, Opex, Capex, investment decision making);
• Profound knowledge in ITIL framework and PM best practices;
• Excellent project management experience in an international environment with multidisciplinary teams, advanced expertise in innovation;
• Very good people management, leadership and maximizing profits skills (leadership, budgeting, activity coordination & controlling): ability to form motivated, well-performing teams and to identify development needs for people in the department;
• Advanced communication, negotiation and interaction skills, strong decision taker and promoter of the top management decisions, excellent presentation skills;
• English – advanced level written and verbal.
