Your tasks
- Manages Master Data department within the assigned scope, ensuring reliable service delivery, adherence to governance standards, and continuous improvement in a complex, international shared services environment;
- Leads, coaches, and develops the Master Data team, with responsibility for day to day people management, performance management, and capability development in line with organizational needs, including structured capability development and succession planning for key roles;
- Implements and maintains Master Data governance frameworks, policies, standards, roles, and controls, ensuring consistent application across SAP systems and related platforms in accordance with Process Manager and Process Owner policies;
- Prepares and proposes priorities, resource allocation, and solution options within the area of responsibility, contributing input to higher level decision making;
- Oversees the execution and continuous improvement of Master Data processes and MDG solutions, ensuring stable operations and alignment with approved Finance Transformation and digitalization roadmaps in accordance with Process Manager and Process Owner policies. Contributes to the Group Finance/GBS Data Management & Governance Office activities, frameworks, polices;
- Ensures compliance with internal control frameworks, access management rules, audit requirements, and regulatory standards; supports the identification of Master Data related risks and the implementation of mitigation measures;
- Monitors and reports on service performance and data quality KPIs, initiating improvement actions to enhance efficiency, reliability, and customer satisfaction in accordance with Process Manager and Process Owner policies;
- Acts as an escalation point for all operational Master Data topics, providing structured input and recommendations to senior stakeholders;
- Represents Master Data in cross functional initiatives, contributing expertise and ensuring alignment with business priorities and shared services models;
- Supports change management and stakeholder communication for Master Data and Data Governance related processes, systems, and organizational changes to ensure effective adoption and knowledge transfer.
Your profile
- Master Diploma: Finance, Business;
- Relevant professional experience: more than 9 years;
- Management roles with > 5 years of leadership experience, including international/shared services exposure;
- Solid expertise in Master Data processes, Data governance principles, controls and quality management;
- Proven experience in SAP landscape (ideally MDG, S/4HANA, FI/CO, MM, SD);
- Ability to apply standards and policies and to prepare recommendations for senior management;
- Solid project and transformation management capabilities (Lean / Agile exposure preferred);
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills;
- Very good English language skills; German language skills are an advantage.
