Your tasks

  • Ensures and steers Platforms Department performance and systematically implement a performance driven culture, in line with Information Ecosystem E&P and OMV Global Solutions strategic objectives
  • Ensures the further integration of RO&AT&BO’s locations through continuous knowledge exchange and best practice implementation
  • Supports the strategic focus on digitization, with globalization potential, assimilate and contribute to the growing demand initiative accordance with the strategic direction defined at OMV Energy group level
  • Responsible for the implementation of OMV Energy strategic direction of digitalization as enabler for innovation, new business opportunities and competitiveness within the area of Platforms Service Ownership
  • Leads strategic development of the Platform services
  • Efficient delivery of IT service management to OMV Petrom and OMV, based on documented agreements with the business and Global Solutions standards
  • Closely collaborates with relevant global and regional stakeholders, peers from different areas and global counterparts in order to define end user collaboration and workplace productivity requirements while also ensuring collaboration and alignment with the OMV IT organization Support defining, development and enforcing Service Management best practices
  • Plans and aligns the personal development schedules for IT service owners and team members according to the set objectives and defined strategy and their articulated long term career planning. Leading and developing Paltform direct subordinates. Hires, coaches, trains and leads a high calibre and diverse team of experts

Your profile

  • Master’s degree: Engineering/ IT/Management
  • Relevant professional experience: > 9 years
  • Management roles: with > 3 years of leadership experience in international projects / teams  
  • Advanced knowledge: of ITIL processes; in rolling out and operating Cloud Workplace technologies
  • Advanced in: new technology evaluation and technical change management; in setting up technical designs and governance processes to balance usability and simplicity with richness of functionality
  • Proven ability to engage successfully with senior executives and business leaders to understand and translate business requirements into technical strategies and architectures
  • Excellent communication and intercultural skills, both verbal and written preferably in English
  • Holds others accountable by monitoring progress and results, and giving effective feedback; able to make tough decisions when appropriate
