Your tasks

  • Is involved in the preparation of the monthly and quarterly reporting package and their statutory reporting for allocated OMV group entities;
  • Is involved in the preparation of sundry financial reports for allocated OMV group entites;
  • Is involved in preparation of Joint Ventures (JV) reporting and verifications;
  • Provides support to other departments on financial topics;
  • Collaborates with the team members and the other departments from Corporate Finance, Global Business Solutions and Business;
  • Supports management for improving department activity, finding new solutions in accordance with department objectives and business' requirements;
  • Supports definition of and contributes to projects and initiatives for improving department processes and systems;
  • Applies independently the knowledge from area of expertise in accordance with the business requirements;
  • Supports the identification of potential risks in area of expertise and proposes respective solutions for risk mitigation;
  • Understands complex situations that potentially generate errors/issues,  identifies root cause and participate in finding a solution for mitigation in alignment with the department manager.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree: Finance;
  • Relevant professional experience: more than 5 years. At least 5 years professional experience in similar business area (i.e. General Ledger & Cost Accounting services), preferably in the oil industry.
  • Very good knowledge and skills of Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Power Point);
  • Very good knowledge and  application of SAP transactions related to own area of activity;
  • Very good knowledge of FI/CO and specific application(s) / transactions used in own activity and general knowledge of other modules transactions/ interfaces on department level;
  • Very good understanding of cross-functional relations and interdependencies;
  • Advance knowledge and understanding of the specific legislations / internal guidelines, of the rules and internal guidelines from different fields / at department level: Financial accounting (RAS and IFRS) regulations, regarding P&L accounts, management accounting principles and regulations;
  • Ability to elaborate internal rules and guidelines, processes related to department’s activities field;
  • Ability to understand complex operational issues (at department level), to analyze, explain, identify them and remove their causes;
  • English language skills - written and spoken - advanced level.
