Your tasks

• Independently researches and analyzes finance discipline issues or assists more senior staff in the department on highly complex key issues;
• Ensures all process work is carried out according to internal procedures and regulations, accurately recorded and reported;
• Supports the identification of potential risks in area of expertise and proposes solutions for risk mitigation;
• Coordinates and prepare internal activities for regular maintenance of Fixed Assets procedures, training materials and processes description;
• Ensures and performes accurate and timely monthly,quarterly and year-end closing activities;
• Discuss and align with the internal stakeholders the fixed assets discipline topics concerding daily business, respectively providing all relevant information to business and controlling for budgeting;
• Participates and contributes with expertise into relevant projects;
• Ensures compliance and internal controls with regards to fixed assets processes(e.g. end-to-end process compliance for Fixed Assets processes);
• Performs (ad-hoc) analyses & statistics, prepares monthly reporting packages as well as reporting of financial data based on specific requests e.g. ensures delivery of reports and documents required by internal and external audit.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s Degree: Finance;
• Relevant professional experience: more than 5 years;
• Very good Knowledge of Fixed Assets processes (put in function, write-off, sales, inventory count, master data maitenance, relevant internal controls etc),ensure the proper accounting of fixed assets and investments in accordance with Local legal requirements(GAAP), IFRS and Fiscal area;
• Good knowledge and skills of Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook);
• Basic project management skills, typically project team member, ability to lead projects;
• Very good knowledge and application of SAP transactions related to team activity and general knowledge of SAP transactions applicable on department level;
• Solid knowledge and understanding of related legislations/norms, internal rules/guidelines, in multiple areas/team level;
• English and German language skills (at least B2).
