Your tasks

  • Independently researches and analyses finance discipline issues or assists more senior staff in the department on highly complex key issues.
  • Ensures all process work is carried out according to internal procedures and regulations, accurately recorded and reported.
  • Supports the identification of potential risks in area of expertise and proposes solutions for risk mitigation.
  • Coordinates and prepares internal activities for regular maintenance of Fixed Assets procedures, training materials and processes description.
  • Ensures and performs accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end closing activities.
  • Discusses and aligns with the internal stakeholders the fixed assets discipline topics concerning daily business, respectively providing all relevant information to business and controlling for budgeting.
  • Participates and contributes with expertise into relevant projects of the department.
  • Ensures compliance and internal controls with regards to fixed assets processes (e.g. end-to-end process compliance for Fixed Assets processes).

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance
  • Relevant professional experience: >5 years
  • Very good Knowledge of Fixed Assets processes (put in function, write-off, sales, inventory count, master data maitenance, relevant internal controls etc),ensures the proper accounting of fixed assets and investments in accordance with Local legal requirements(GAAP), IFRS and Fiscal area.
  • Advanced knowledge and skills of Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Basic project management skills, typically project team member, ability to lead projects.
  • Very good knowledge and application of SAP transactions related to team activity and general knowledge of SAP transactions applicable on department level.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of related legislations/norms, internal rules/guidelines, in multiple areas/team level.
  • Very good Finance & Accounting knowledge and principles applied in Oil&Gas Industry.
  • English and German language skills (at least B2).
