Your tasks
- Independently researches and analyzes finance discipline issues or assists more senior staff in the department on highly complex key issues;
- Ensures all process work is carried out according to internal procedures and regulations, accurately recorded and reported and internal controls with regards to GL&Cost Accounting processes (e.g. end-to-end process compliance);
- Undertakes a variety of assignments which have clear and specified objectives, requiring knowledge of principles and techniques e.g. coordinating and providing financial and operating information for compilation of tax returns;
- Prepares and carries out initial investigations into relevant issues. Prepare adequate declarations and statements designated companies; supports the identification of potential risks in area of expertise and proposes respective solutions for risk mitigation;
- Coordinates and prepare internal activities for regular maintenance of General Ledger&Cost Accounting procedures, training materials and processes description;
- Performs, supervises and ensures the high accuracy and timely fulfilling of complex processes for general ledger activities according to allocated tasks, without guidance and monitoring for daily activity, respecting the principles and rules in place, in an effective and efficient manner. Ensures and performs accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end closing activities;
- Discusses and align with the internal stakeholders the finance discipline topics concerning daily business, respectively correlate business processes with the accounting ones. Addresses issues and works on solution proposals;
- Prepares reports, analyses and proposals for management as requested. Participates and contributes expertise into relevant project work, whenever requested.
Your profile
- Master Diploma: Finance;
- Relevant professional experience: more than 5 years;
- Very good knowledge and understanding about specific oil & gas business and its business requirements, focusing on general ledger and cost accounting specificites (cash & bank transactions processing, sundry GL related postings, master data maintenance, internal orders and project settlement, cost allocations, profit centers and profitability analysis, production costs, SAP CO budget data etc);
- Very good knowledge and skills of Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook).
- Basic project management skills, typically project team member, ability to lead projects
- Very good knowledge and application of SAP transactions related to team activity and general knowledge of SAP transactions applicable on department level.
- Proactively identifies and proposes opportunities to improve activity, processes and regulations.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of related legislations / norms, internal rules / guidelines, in multiple areas / department level.
- Very good Finance & Accounting knowledge and principles applied in oil & gas industry.
- English language skills - advanced level.
