Your tasks

  • Contributes to daily Master Data maintenance and service delivery (create/change/block/mark for deletion/assures replication). Executes mandatory checks for Master Data correctness and completeness. Supervises SAP interfaces (MDG or SAP and other systems), resolving incidents with guidance;
  • Participates in the design of Master Data processes, MDG improvement ideas, and alignment across SAP systems. Supports conceptual process designs, technical specifications, and documentation;
  • Provides technical and process support in projects, contributes to solution design, ensures compliance of Master Data activities and systems, and supports group-wide projects with Master Data implications. Takes over testing responsibilities and contributes to improvement initiatives;
  • Provides reports to Department Manager or Project Managers, focusing on defined KPIs and supporting root cause analysis (especially regarding duplicates, data classifications etc.). Supports creation of reports and ad hoc requests;
  • Supports development of processes, work procedures, and solutions to optimize own and departmental activity. Gives input for continuous improvements and may lead small, lower-risk projects (e.g. tool enhancements, data cleansing);
  • Maintains relationships with Master Data stakeholders on all levels. Demonstrates knowledge of shared services organizations, departmental interdependencies, and stakeholder relationships. Understands related legislation, norms, internal rules, and guidelines;
  • Independently plans and adapts activities to meet deadlines with expected quality. Supports team members in planning and prioritization. Organizes cross-functional workshops, alignments, data gathering, user tests, and final acceptances for Master Data-related CRs and projects;
  • Supports junior colleagues in organizing and improving their activities. Maintains Master Data procedures, training materials, and process descriptions. Adheres to compliance rules, working instructions, and regulations;
  • Reports to Department Manager as required. Communicates significant process changes, informs stakeholders, and maintains documentation. Prepares queries and non-standard reports accurately, completely, and on time.

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree: Finance, Business;
  • Relevant professional experience: more than 5 years;
  • Solid functional knowledge about Master Data maintenance processes (ideally in oil & gas industry) and continuous optimization and efficiency improvement;
  • Solid project management skills in an international environment - familiar with Lean and Agile practices;
  • Good analytical and organizational skills to perform the day by day Master Data activities, working independently as well as working in teams;
  • High attention to detail;
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP (ideally MDG, Finance, S/4 HANA , SAP MM, SAP SD) and Microsoft Excel;
  • Solution oriented, proactive and able to communicate ideas and concepts to various stakeholders;
  • Experience in providing user trainings to key users (ideally MDG, S/4 HANA);
  • Very good English language skills. Strongly preferred German language skills.
