Your tasks

• Ensure compliance with organisational procedure associated with the sourcing process;
• Create recommendations for the adaptation of single and multiple sourcing arrangements with suppliers. Analyse the main types of contractual agreements that can be made between customers and suppliers and identify the circumstances for each to be used;
• Create selection and award criteria appropriate to the procurement;
• Evaluate submitted quotations or tenders on the basis of objective criteria using any agreed weightings and scoring process;
• Analyse the use of reverse auctions in the sourcing process and advise suppliers and other stakeholders on their use;
• Apply value for money criteria to the procurement of goods and services in sourcing processes and performance measurement taking account of market trends;
• Manage contracts within the category including enforcement, leakage identification and claim resolution. Manage contract re-negotiations and prolongations;
• Execute purchase orders (including approvals) and track orders;
• Manage suppliers and contractors within category (evaluation, portfolio management, development, etc.);
• Identify opportunities to make use of methodologies for supplier development (knowledge and technology transfer, collaborative product/service development, continuous improvement reviews, supplier capability assessments).

Your profile

• Master Diploma: Business or relevant technical field;
• Relevant professional experience: more than 5 years;
• SAP and Ariba knowledge skills;
• Functional procurement knowledge;
• Advanced understanding of transactional procurement procedures (tenders, negotiations, contracting, purchase to pay);
• Relevant technological understanding and experience of the key supply markets;
• Experience in leadership and management, specifically in managing cross-functional intercultural teams without having (direct) reporting line relationship;
• Advanced IT skills, including SAP, MS Office, Procurement applications, etc.;
• Very good English language skills.
