Your tasks

Responsible for IT services stability and performance monitoring in order to maintain 24x7 operations (where needed), resolve and minimise service impacts.

Ensure stable IT operations (internationally, for OMV Petrom Group) by:

  • Full accountability for service delivery, for all assigned Downstream IT operations
  • Full accountability 1st to 2nd level support for all assigned Downstream IT operations,
  • Manage daily operations and ensure system availability of Downstream IT
  • Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to upper management
  • Control and monitor IT services, applications and operations on system KPIs (e.g. availability)
  • Fulfill the Incident, Request, Change and Escalation processes, ensure high levels of performance in these processes, accurate reporting and establish service improvement activities
  • Identify, assess and propose to upper management optimization measures of fit for purpose IT service support

Your profile

Master’s degree: IT

Relevant professional experience: more than 3 years in IT service delivery

Advanced experience in IT service management and IT architecture (e.g. cloud based implementation) integration with enterprise application landscapes and experience in managing continuous integration, cross commodities (physical and financial) with involvement in IT implementation projects.

  • Fluency in English, additional German and other language skills are advantageous
  • Experience with relational databases and very good SQL and algorithms knowledge.
  • Keen eye on and interest in customer experience
  • Advanced knowledge of ITIL processes.
  • Awareness regarding Information Security. 
  • Capability to act proactively; accepts and gives advice and constructive feedback and applies them in a constructive manner
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and strong cross-functional relationships across an organization to achieve common goals
