Project Manager Sustainability

Tasks

• Takes responsibility for the ESG ratings and sustainability reporting, with the purpose of improving the level of transparency and performance, and strong focus on improving internal alignment and streamlining processes
• Takes end-to-end responsibility for the development and updates required for relevant touchpoints (website, data hub, presentations)
• Supports the business divisions on strategic sustainability projects and ESG topics
• Responsible for the ESG evaluation processes end-to-end: engages and the manages relationships with rating agencies, prepares evaluations, fills in the data and supports content owners in finalizing questionnaires, coordinates the results analysis, makes recommendations and ensures gaps are addressed and improvements are implemented.
• Coordinates the development of OMV Petrom’s Sustainability Report and audit process, with focus on improved disclosure, optimized processes and alignment to international best practices; takes full responsibility for developing the project plan, identifying dependencies and associated risks, engaging and coordinating the relationship with content owners and third parties, to ensure delivery on time, withing budget and agreed quality standards.
• Prepares reports and presentations on ESG-related topics and projects; provides clear, useable advice to support decision making for superiors & peers.
• Responsible for internal and external communication touchpoints linked to Sustainability and ESG reporting – ensures information is updated and in line with industry best practices, by initiating and managing projects in coordination with internal and external stakeholders. 
• Answers inquiries on ESG topics, in coordination with all relevant stakeholders.

Profile

• Education: Master Degree in Economics, Public Policies, Technical/Environment, Sustainability
• Detailed expertise and strong understanding of sustainability concepts
• Strong understanding of national and international frameworks and guidelines on sustainability reporting, applied to Oil & Gas / Energy companies
• In-depth understanding of ESG requirements and experience working with ESG rating agencies
• Ability to identify gaps and opportunities, prioritize and design action plans to improve sustainability performance
• Ability to communicate complex concepts and information in a concise and clear manner
• Ability to prepare reports and presentations and support decision making for various stakeholder groups
• Experience in preparing briefs, coordinating the development and implementation for sustainability-related communications & engagement activities is a plus
• Keen on driving improvements, simplifying, working and promoting best practices
• Easily engages, builds trust and inspires action at all levels within the organization
• Team-player, with a proactive approach in supporting the business on different sustainability and ESG topics
• Genuine interest in sustainability
• Language skills: English – advanced
• Skilled Microsoft Teams user, Strong Ppt, Excel skills
