Your tasks

• Implement software solutions and data engineering solutions to meet business objectives according to system architecture and company coding standards
• Drive and coordinate the development of software solutions following the IT & Digitalization Petrom Energy strategic objectives.
• Delivers complex multi-discipline technical specific tasks, according to defined service level agreements, for allocated software services without guidance and monitoring for daily activity and for project activities, respecting the principles and rules in place.
• Complete well designed systems of high quality that make appropriate use of technology.
• Participate and lead in new technology investigation and make recommendations for new technology adoption.
• Lead technical projects on demand and act as mentor to junior staff.
• Building and maintaining continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines on development, continuous integration and test environments.
• Analyze business needs, consult with business stakeholders and design software applications accordingly to automate strategic processes
• Maintaining software applications, offering support in operational to deliver high quality services.
• Participate in testing, deploying software systems and preparing technical documentation.
• Effectively collaborate with cross functional and cross country departments.
• Accountable and responsible for continuous alignment with relevant stakeholders in Head Office.
• Accountable and responsible for active participation in globally defined Use Cases.
• Accountable and responsible for active participation in Data Liberation Chapter initiative and other data integration activities.
• Accountable and responsible for in-house Azure developed and operated solutions, based on Azure resources.

Your skills

• University degree Master in IT
• Relevant professional experience: >9 years
• Excellent knowledge using Azure in developing different solutions with focus on data flows and orchestration. Ability to develop and operate internally developed solutions based on Azure resources.
• Excellent understanding of APIs and its design and implementation.
• Excellent knowledge of what Services-based Architecture is and how it works. Ability to embed best practices in developing an end-solution.
• Experience in cloud computing technologies (SaaS / IaaS / PaaS)
• Extensive knowledge of C# using Visual Studio, using MVC and Entity Framework
• Strong experience in JSON, XML, REST, NoSQL Database(MongoDB, Cassandra), Distributed System, RDBMS, MVC frameworks, Design Patterns, Javascript, JQuery, Python
• Good knowledge of data engineering using the tools: DataBricks / Azure Synapse / Azure Data Factory
• Experience with Scrum/Agile development frameworks
• Strong experience in different high-level programing language (Python/Java) and different middleware frameworks.
• Excellent English skills; German represents an advantage.
