Your tasks

• Designs and coordinates the implementation of new Compute and Cloud IT Infrastructure services. Improves the existing technical solutions according to business requirements, ensuring high quality and proper data consistency. Builds technical IT documentation according to the organization's standard.
• Actively drives and contributes to the ongoing transition of Compute & Storage provisioning towards automation and platform engineering, including scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices and implementations.
• Provides advanced expertise in Digital Infrastructure projects, ensuring technical consultancy and implementations. Coordinates external suppliers and works on designs at various detail levels (e.g. HLD, LLD, IT Compute & Cloud implementation proposals).
• Provides advanced technical support role in tender evaluations, including addressing technical challenges of the vendors.
• Actively monitors the strategic direction of vendors and market trends, determining their impact and value to the enterprise. Assesses the impact of emerging technologies on strategic IT developments that enable new business capabilities.
• Investigates technically complex problems and coordinates problem resolution with vendors, hardware manufacturers, and/or appropriate in-house personnel, including root-cause analysis in case of technical system failures.
• Collaborates with stakeholders (e.g., Application Developers, Service Managers, Infrastructure Managers) to define customization requirements from a Compute & Cloud architecture perspective.

Your profile

• Master’s degree: IT&C
• Relevant professional experience: more than 7 years
• Advanced knowledge in business-specific IT&C areas includes managing mixed on-premises and cloud infrastructure, designing compute and storage solutions, understanding of project management methodologies (incl. Agile), working with virtualization platforms and administering Windows Server systems (including OS security, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Failover Clustering).
• Proven experience in rolling out and operating Hyper-V, VMware and other IT virtualization technologies
• Advanced experience in scripting specific to automation and Infrastructure-as-Code with regards to Compute & Cloud services provisioning (Ansible, Terraform, Azure ARM are a plus).
• Advanced experience with Cloud technologies (Azure is a plus); of DevOps and Platform Engineering practices and concepts and also advanced knowledge in ITIL and IT security
• Experience in new technology evaluation and technical change management
• English – advanced level written and verbal
