Your tasks

• Ensure harmonized, standardized and integrated processes incl. process definition and documentation, within area of product costing, controlling and profitability reporting;
• Responsible for the methodical and content quality of process management across the respective business area to be in line with existing group standards;
• Focus on end-to-end processes, ensure process integration, interface alignment and harmonization across departments and locations;
• Advise and support the Process Owners on process design, analysis and optimization. Conduct analysis of business processes across the organization, identify gaps, determine its impact to the organization, and recommend action plans and timeline to address these issues;
• Ensure the translation of Borealis’ business requirements into the design of the new (SAP S/4) process landscape within the respective business area and drives the prioritization and selection of strategically relevant and value-adding initiatives;
• Design the implementation of finance related improvement measures and provide clear requests and specifications. Initiate & manage IT related activities in projects and change requests, e.g. in SAP S/4 systems in product costing, cost center and profit center accounting & margin analysis modules and respective master data activities;
• Act as efficient interface between Accounting and IT by providing support in both SAP and Finance in order to "translate" the requests into IT language;
• Challenge current practices, aiming for continuous improvement, based on solid technical knowledge of the relevant SAP solutions as well as good understanding of business processes;
• Manage and coordinate with stakeholders, be responsible for process implementation and rollout, change management and communications activities. Facilitate user acceptance testing and user trainings;
• Drive continuous optimization and digitalization. Collaborate with various functional areas to achieve optimal results in process redesign and implementation. Manage and continuously improve the process platform as business representative.

Your profile

• Master Diploma: Finance/ Economics / Cybernetics / Management / IT;
• Relevant professional experience: more than 7 years;
• Advanced knowledge of finance, controlling & accounting principles and processes;
• Prior work experience in project or consulting international environment and good understanding and knowledge of finance, management accounting and record to report processes are necessary;
• Advanced knowledge of SAP S/4 FI, CO and CO-MA module – understanding of the system build up, data entry, info capturing, up to translation into financial reports;
• Knowledge about Python programmingl
• Advanced English knowledge.
