Your tasks

• Works with the business stakeholders to identify what the business requirements are and the expected outcome. Models and frames business scenarios that are meaningful and which impact on critical business processes and/or decisions;
• Identifies what data is available and relevant, including internal and external data sources, leveraging new data collection processes such as smart meters and geo-location information or social media;
• Ensures that the information used follows the compliance, access management and control policies of the organization and that it meets the qualification and assurance requirements of the business;
• Includes experimental design approaches to validate findings by comparing appropriate samples;
• Suggests ongoing improvements to methods and algorithms that lead to findings, including new information. Understands the use and ability to employ the appropriate algorithm to discover patterns;
• Educates the organization both from Digital Solutions and the business perspectives on these new approaches, such as testing hypotheses and statistical validation of result;
• Creates hypotheses and experiments to identify hidden relationships and construct new analytics methods;
• Researches bleeding-edge techniques and tools in machine learning/deep learning/ responsible artificial intelligence.   

Your profile

• Master’s degree: Mathematics / Computer Science / Business Informatics;
• Relevant professional experience: more than 9 years in Data Science / Analytics, Data Engineering;
• Specific Microsoft Azure certifications: Azure Fundamentals; Azure Data Scientist Associate; Azure AI Engineer Associate; Azure Data Engineer Associate; Azure Developer Associate;
• Excellent knowledge of business procedures and processes in respective area and latest technical trends / solutions;
• Solid understanding of all the core elements within own discipline, good knowledge of the interdependencies and can manage interfaces with other disciplines;
• Technical expertise with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, C++, Scala, etc.;
• Practical cloud experience, Microsoft Azure (Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Databricks, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure ML Services etc.) is preferred;
• Advanced expertise in working with tolls like: Power BI, Spotfire or Tableau
• Advanced expertise working with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres and Cassandra
• Fluency in English.
