Your Tasks
- Coordinates with Finance Oil team and ensures together with department manager proper allocation of resources and tasks
- Performs economic analyses and monitors the activity performance of the Asset Oil.
- Monitors and prepares reports on the budget spend, thus enabling the budget responsible to properly manage their expenditure levels
- Is responsible for fulfilling financial tasks related to the entire scope of the Asset Oil activity, as assigned by line manager, in a correct and timely manner
- Pro-actively signals issues or potential issues to the line manager and applies his/ her expertise in order to support the continuous and constant improvement of the flow of activity
- Accounts for the accuracy of SAP system postings which he/ she initiates or revises
- Provides professional assistance and advises other departments in matters concerning the financial activity and works with relevant positions in order to contribute to the planning and reporting process
- Act as mentor to indirectly subordinated staff, supports know how transfer and knowledge sharing
- Provides coaching and engages in mentoring activities to the junior team members
- Is responsible for fulfilling financial tasks related to the entire scope of the Asset Oil activity, as assigned by line manager, in a correct and timely manner
- Pro-actively signals issues or potential issues to the line manager and applies expertise in order to support the continuous and constant improvement of the flow of activity
- Contributes to the accruals process: GL account, check of supporting documents, accuracy of transactions; applies professional expertise to conduct verifications of the received documentation and ensure accuracy of system input data
Your Profile
- Education: University degree Master in Finance
- Relevant professional experience: >9 years
- Good knowledge of financial processes in OMV Petrom
- SAP S4Hana and Cognos (TM1) IBM Planning analytics knowledge, advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Advances knowledge on planning and economics and IFRS/ Romanian accounting rules
- Strong ability to work with tight deadlines and ability to respond to management requests promptly
- Ability to work independently and also within cross functional teams,
- Defines sound proposals to improve procedures and guidelines and provides input for policies.
- Provides clear, useable advice to superiors & peers.
- Advanced expertise role in special tasks or projects; works in multifunctional projects.

- Proven ability to work on complex issues with minimal supervision
