Your tasks

  • Independently develop and review complex business cases for assigned organic investment projects within Exploration & Production and Low Carbon Business. 
  • Perform economic evaluations for planning, reserves, recalculations and impairment processes.
  • Review, challenge and validate business cases and underlying assumptions from an economic perspective to ensure robustness and transparency.
  • Provide economic insights and advice to management and key stakeholders, supporting investment and portfolio decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance of business cases with economics processes, standards and governance frameworks.
  • Contribute to the development, harmonization and continuous improvement of economics methodologies, tools and processes within the CoE. 
  • Drive and support digitalization, automation and further development of economics tools and systems.
  • Lead complex analyses and support responses to ad-hoc management requests in the area of economics and Energy finance.

Your profile

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering or equivalent
  • Relevant professional experience: >7 years
  • Strong knowledge and experience in economic modelling and business case evaluation
  • Solid understanding of the energy business and key value drivers
  • Strong understanding of financial management, fiscal regimes, commercial terms, contracts and planning processes
  • Experience with economic evaluation tools and finance systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to address complex topics independently
  • Ability to provide clear, structured and actionable insights and advice to stakeholders
  • Experience in digitalization, automation or further development of tools is an advantage
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in an international environment
  • Fluent in English
