Purpose of the position

You will be part of an international team responsible for managing the key digital applications for OMV/Petroms Retail & Convenience Business with strong focus on the strategic growth areas: E-Mobility, Loyalty and Mobile Payment. Covering the entire application lifecycle, the position holder will ensure that new business requirements are translated into specifications and changes are prioritized and implemented with a value & customer focus in mind. You will actively manage the mobile application landscape and related interfaces and align with the respective counterparts in a solution oriented and hands-on approach. This is an international role, where close alignment with the global team is a key success factor.

Your tasks

• Lead the analysis of mobile application related business requirements and manage their implementation with external vendors;
• Assess, define and enforce corresponding operating models, standards and KPIs for new and existing mobile application solutions;
• Steer & manage internal & external stakeholders to ensure operations according to established standards and procedures;
• Contribute to projects and programs as work package lead or as defined in the work package structures;
• Accountable for improvement ideas throughout all relevant upcoming projects;;
• Manage system and vendor performance;
• Lead and drive software solution tenders in the area of Retail & Convenience;
• Supervise IT testing activities (take the lead for technical tests) and coordinate support of UAT activities;
• Assess, Identify and recommend training needs for business user;
• Report to the senior management on defined KPIs and vendor performance .

Your profile

• Master’s degree: IT or similar, relevant education;
• Relevant professional experience: more than 7 years in information technology, business administration, project management and/or consulting;
• Experience in Retails systems and/or cash register systems, experience in IT system operations, experience in working in large scale projects and in corporate environments;
• Advanced experience in IT service management and IT architecture & integration with enterprise application landscapes and experience in managing continuous integration as well as proven track record in the retail sector with involvement in IT implementation projects;
• Strong understanding of mobile application development, user interface design, and integration of electric vehicle functionalities;
• Advance knowledge of mobile applications lifecycle: inception, design, development, stabilization, distribution.;
• Experience in Retail/e-mobility Business or related business know-how is a plus;
• Solid understanding of IT application solution specification with strong analytical skills;
• Awareness regarding Information Security, group policies and best practices;
• Open minded personality;
• Fluency in English.
