Your tasks

• Ensures the consulting and delivery (incl. support) in the area of SAP BI technologies, for OMV group of countries.
• Develops complex, tailored solutions for specific customer requirements. This includes solution design based on business need, implementation management of a stable service and continuous improvement in terms of time, quality, cost and collaboration
• Defines the Analytics & BI strategy and roadmap for the area related to SAP Business Intelligence services and technologies, to enable the digital transformation of our customers (E&P, R&M, Corporate) based on concrete business needs and reflecting relevant market developments.
• Advises on challenges and business opportunities on SAP Business Intelligence related application environment to improve performance management of the OMV business.
• Controls and enhances the knowledge and use of best IT service management practice into design, implement, transition, operate and continual service improvement for Analytics & BI services for defined OMV customers within the allocated budget responsibility. Coordinates implementation and migrations from on-premise to cloud (Hana Enterprise Cloud) taking also fully into account change management and training aspects to ensure high degree of customer satisfaction
• Coordinates technical activities of internal / external resources. Key interface / contact person regarding specific technical questions in the area of SAP Business Intelligence products. Coordinates technical activities for the served customers and counsels on used technologies. Advises customers representatives on Analytics & BI services for adequate knowledge management and overall process optimization
• Consults regarding SAP BI technical solutions especially within the IT department and counsels IT Global counterparts, project managers, application managers and business consultants regarding technical questions and possible solutions in the area of data engineering, busines intelligence & advanced analytics.

Your profile

• Master’s degree: Economics / Cybernetics / Management / IT.
• Relevant professional experience: more than 9 years in data engineering, data analytics and data modeling area    
• Excellent knowledge of SAP Business Intelligence technology platform (both cloud & on-prem) with experience in system configuration
• Strong understanding & practical implementation of advanced data models using SAP Business Warehouse (both on HANA and on-premisse)
• Experience in integrating complex, cross-corporate processes and data models, and/or designing strategic metrics and scorecards using SAP Analytics Cloud
• Excellent practical implementation skills of projects that utilized SAP Data Intelligence, with a specific focus on SAP ECC / S4 system integration.
• Good understanding of ABAP programing language and what should be done to enable data transfer between SAP ECC / S4 systems and BW / other reporting environments
• Excellent working knowledge of SAP BI Tools (SAP Cloud Analytics / SAP BO; SAP Business Warehouse; SAP Analysis for Office; SAP Query Designer; SAP Bex Analyzer; Eclipse )
• Proficient English User C1/C2
