Your tasks

• Support the development and operationalization of a clear, aligned, and integrated R&M strategy in alignment with OMV Petrom Group corporate strategy and all relevant stakeholders.
• Perform together with business units’ representatives the required strategic analyses on relevant energy transition topics and assess implications for R&M division.
• Identify critical strategy topics that require special focus and provide solutions, recommendations and support as needed.
• Manage the R&M Strategy project portfolio definition, drive the information collection and the integrated overview on R&M level in close alignment with business stakeholders and OMV Petrom corporate strategy team.
• Ensure and coordinate timely monitoring and reporting on the R&M strategic topics and facilitate decision making.
• Provide guidance to R&M top management and middle management in strategy related topics.
• Conduct environmental scans, organization positioning analyses, internal and external analyses (market trends, competition, customer behaviors, and economic factors) to support strategic decision making.
• Identify, together with business representatives, key strategic initiatives and evaluate their impact, feasibility, and alignment with long term priorities
• Builds and maintains internal stakeholder network covering strategy-relevant functions, such as Finance, M&A, Investor Relations, Communications, Sustainability, and other strategy teams as well as external networks for benchmarking.
• Supports the implementation, management, and improvement of Petrom R&M strategy process and develops strategic analyses (e.g. growth and market analyses) and scenarios.

Your profile

• University degree in Technical or economics
• Relevant professional experience: > 12 years;
• Excellent understanding of the business context, market principles as well as all interfaces and interdependencies.
• Strong experience in strategy development, portfolio/performance management, and executive‑level communication.
• Excellent English and advanced MS Office skills.
• Responsible for monitoring the legal and political environment, competitors, market conditions and changes in the industry that may impact Petrom R&M strategic directions.
• Ensures efficient communication of the tasks and responsibilities to stakeholders.
