Your tasks

  • Is a reliable partner with very good IT Infrastructure vision and Workplace architecture knowledge (client platforms, voice and communication, security and access, peripheral services), who shapes the technology demand among the business community. Implements and customizes technical solutions and processes and ensures service delivery through continuous knowledge exchange and best practice implementations.
  • Manages implementation of client management design projects, combining analytical skills and design with adequate knowledge of user hardware and software, client management software (SCCM) and printing.
  • Challenges vendors from technical point of view and performs technical evaluations in tender processes.
  • Close collaboration with Solution architects, Infrastructure responsibles, National Digital Managers, application managers and business stakeholders regarding technical solutions to provide the most optimal solution based on the business requirements
  • Monitors strategic direction of vendors, market trends, and determines their impact and value to the enterprise. Functionally coordinates external suppliers, works on detailed level (e. g. requirement specifications, implementation proposals, ..).
  • Continuously drives implementation and service providers on technical and innovative improvement of services and systems as well as making sure technical documentation is delivered according to the company’s standards. Follows up on technical changes and enhancements of existing developments according to business requirements ensuring high quality.
  • Investigates technically complex problems and coordinates problem resolution with vendors, hardware manufacturers, and/or appropriate in-house personnel. Develops specifications and provides consultative guidance to project teams.
  • Participates in projects, gives technical advice and performs technical implementations. Supports the implementation of projects from IT Workplace perspective.
  • Ensures governance, controls and best practices to ensure secure, highly usable and stable services for hosted applications, client assets as well as end users.
  • Owns key expert level communication and interaction including consulting, understanding and supporting of the overall Digital Solutions strategy.

Your skills

  • University degree Master in IT
  • Relevant professional experience: >7 years
  • Advanced understanding of the client management technologies (SCCM,Intune, Citrix, MDM, Antivirus, ServiceNow, … ).
  • Advanced understanding of market best practices when it comes to running a state-of-the-art EDR/Hardening solution.
  • Advanced knowledge about Active Directory group policy.
  • Very good service management skills.
  • Advanced Knowledge of Endpoint manager tools (Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Intunes, SCCM).
  • Experience in managing Client Antivirus suites in enterprise environment (Windows Defender).
  • Practical experience in configuration and administration of WDS / Bitlocker.
  • Very good Knowledge of Cloud Security best practices applied to the workplace services.
  • Very good Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Batch, vbscript).
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong networking capabilities.
  • Proactive and self-responsible, coordinative skills.
  • Stay updated with the latest emerging Workplace technologies and understands business related cloud requirements.
  • Very good experience in managing and steering service providers.
