Your tasks
- Is responsible for performing all activities required according to legal provisions, internal PetroMed Solutions regulations and line manager requirements within the assigned area, being accountable for their fulfillment within the agreed time and cost parameters.
- Acts as expert medical authority within the clinic and assigned areas and trusted advisor for OMV Petrom Group local management representatives on all health topics, providing guidance on improvement areas identified related to medical services and health-related benefits; proposes improvement measures
- Makes proposals for the development of PetroMed strategy, programs, projects, campaigns etc based on lessons learned during day-to-day operations. Shows a good understanding of the interdependencies between OMV Petrom Group business activities and their potential impact on employees' health; Acts as coach for functional subordinates (nurses), supporting their mid-term development and ensuring know-how transfer
- Contributes with professional expertise to recommending, developing and implementing standards, processes, communications, trainings and systems for improvement of medical services provision within PetroMed Solutions (with focus at OMV Petrom Group levelwithin the assigned areas); ensures that any processes defined within the assigned area of responsibility meet legal and OMV Petrom Group internal requirements
- Performs medical-related data reporting within the processes, tools and templates established by the line manager; looks for opportunities to streamline and improve current reporting and submits improvement proposals to the line manager; ensures data accuracy, data integrity and also confidentialitywhere needed
- Provide telemedicine care (using also the PetroMed line)
- Provide remote surveillance to patients who are part of high risk level of illness
- Ensures timely and adequate implementation at local level activities, processes and projects established at Petromed Solutions Headquarter level, including infectious desease pandemic scnearios such as: contact tracing, remote surveillance of high risk patients, remote monitoring of confirmed positive cases.
Your skills
- Education: University degree Bachelor in Medicine
- Relevant professional experience: >5 years
- Working knowledge: Good knowledge of processes and methodologies related to company medical services; Good knowledge of relevant legal framework applicable to the job activities and how to apply them in the clinic; good understanding of Health Service delivery, especially occupational-health related; Good people management skill; good conflict management, problem solving and resolution skills; A good overview and understanding of health care for employees in the oil industry; Strong knowledge and understanding on legislation / rules, internal regulations / guidelines in multiple areas; Solid knowledge on medical emergency management / occupational health
- Soft skills: proven ability to work on complex issues with minimal supervision, Strong interpersonal skills, highly innovative, excellent analytical, interaction and communication skills; good team player; good listener, observant, perceptive, responsible, efficient decision taker; Proactive character/thinker;Result-oriented and business-focused; Proven ability to adapt to new tasks / situations effectively, showing flexibility in thinking and action, even when under pressure; Ability to accurately assess a situation and make decisions independently (i.e. in a medical care situation);
- IT skills: computer literate with good knowledge of standard Office software, including Outlook, Excel, Word
- Language skills: medium knowledge (written and spoken) English
- Other: Driving license B category; availability to work occasionally in the field
