Sr Exp C&I&Telecom Eng(in view Offshore)

Your tasks

As Senior Expert C&I and Telecom Engineering (in scope of Offshore) (prior to First gas and before position is transfered to Asset Neptun Deep as of date when is officially approved by the OMV Petrom Board):

Ensure the design, selection and reliability of instrumentation, control and telecoms equipment will meet the functional requirements and delivery plan commitments by carrying out the following:

• Take responsibility for end-to-end operability of the Project’s integrated electronic control and safety systems incl. external interfaces.
• Act as focal point for the Project’s integrated Telecom activities including CCR to Off-takers, CCR to Shallow Water Platform (SWP), CCR to Vessel (FSV) communication and Vessel to SWP communication.
• Act as the focal point to all parts of the Organisation for the specification, procurement, detailed design, commissioning and operation of the dedicated Field Support Vessel (FSV) incl. interfaces to Authorities and the existing Offshore Organisation.

As Senior Expert C&I and Telecom Engineering (in scope of Offshore)  (when role is transferred in the new organizational structure Asset Neptun as of date when is officially approved by the OMV Petrom Board and the work schedule and activity are subject to change to offshore rotational diagram)

• Act as focal point for Telecom activities including CCR to Off-takers, CCR to Shallow Water Platform (SWP), CCR to Vessel (FSV) communication and Vessel to SWP communication.
• Act as the focal point to all parts of the Organisation for the Cybersecurity Management
• Participate in the RCA and Incident Investigaton to improve and support Maintenance Excellence Program

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree: Electronics, Telecommunications and IT
• Relevant professional experience: > 12 years
• Have at least five (5) years of relevant offshore industry experience, meaning previously employed within offshore projects 
• Experience of C&I and Telecom in Offshore environment
• Working knowledge and experience of C&I and Telecom design standards and legislation
• Experience of hazardous area equipment selection and installation design requirements including relevant standards
• Demonstrable Experience and Knowledge in C&I and telecom: Control valves / Shutdown Valves / Pressure Safety Valves / Flowmeters / Pressure Transmitters / Temperature Transmitters / Level Transmitters / Switches / F&G Detectors / PAGA / CCTV
• BOSIET certificate is required
• English is mandatory
