Your tasks

As Sr Exp Maint Superint (in view offshore) prior to Ready for Start-Up date and before start of offshore rotation work, your tasks will be: 

  • Complete mandatory safety and offshore survival training (e.g., HUET, first aid, firefighting)
  • Attend technical training on equipment and systems used offshore
  • Participate in company induction and compliance programs
  • Review and familiarize with maintenance manuals, technical drawings, and operational procedures
  • Update asset registers and maintenance records in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
  • Perform functional checks and quality assurance on spare parts and tools
  • Assist in FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) or SAT (Site Acceptance Tests) if applicable
  • Attend planning meetings for RFSU (Ready for Start-Up) and offshore mobilization

 

As Sr Exp Maint Superint (in view offshore) as of Ready for Start-Up date and start of offshore rotation work your tasks will be:

  • Supervise, and coordinate the activities of the offshore maintenance team, including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and support personnel
  • Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs in alignment with DM Maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with safety, health, and environmental policies and requirements, as well as industry best practices
  • Plan, prioritize, and schedule maintenance work, coordinating with operations, engineering, and other departments to minimize production impact
  • Manage maintenance resources, spare parts, and materials to ensure the facility uptime is maximized in a cost-efficient way
  • Oversee execution of major equipment overhauls, turnarounds etc. ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards
  • Monitor and analyze equipment performance data, identifying trends and recommending improvements
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, reports, and equipment history

 

 

Your profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Relevant professional experience: >9 years
  • Minimum 8-10 years of relevant maintenance experience in the oil & gas industry, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or superintendent role(s) offshore
  • Minimum of 5 years offshore experience 
  • Strong knowledge of offshore platform systems, equipment, and maintenance best practices
  • Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Solid understanding of safety management systems and regulatory compliance in offshore environments
  • Proficiency in maintenance management systems MS Office applications
  • Advanced interpersonal and communication skills
  • Capacity to understand and solve complex issues working closely in a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to work well with teams; capable of building teams and to work with intercultural teams.
  • Ability to identifying and assessing potential risks and taking the appropriate measures
  • Capable to work effectively under stress
  • Ability to maintain valid offshore survival (BOSIET/FOET) and medical certificates
  • Knowledge of Romanian and English language, written and spoken required
