Your tasks
- Acts as a trusted partner to business units, providing expert support in financial controlling activities
- Provides support in the accurate and timely preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for multiple entities within the OMV Group
- Supports the analysis of financial performance, identifies trends, and offers recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Collaborates with local and regional controlling teams to ensure alignment with group-wide financial strategies and policies.
- Leads initiatives to standardize and optimize controlling processes across the OMV Group.
- Builds strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including finance, IT, and business unit leaders.
- Provides training and mentorship to junior team members and colleagues on best practices in using data analysis and reporting tools, such as TM1, Power BI, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Designs, develops, and maintains advanced data models, dashboards, and reports to support decision-making processes.
- Utilizes data analysis tools (e.g., TM1, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud) to extract insights and visualize complex financial data.
- Drives the automation and digitalization of reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Your profile
- Master degree in Finance
- Relevant professional experience: > 7 years
- Minimum of 7 years relevant work experience, preferably in controlling, finance & accounting in the oil industry
- Experience with SAP Controlling related modules, TM1 database
- Very good knowledge and skills of Microsoft Office
- Solid knowledge of planning and economics, controlling, finance and financial management (Opex, Capex)
- Solid knowledge of software used within Controlling Department (especially MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Solid knowledge and understanding of related legislations/norms, internal rules/guidelines, in multiple areas/team level.
- English language skills advanced.
