Your tasks

•  Ensures that the regulatory acts are obtained according to the legislative provisions and their conditions are respected, such as:

 monitoring of environmental factors (air - emissions, VOC emissions and immissions; domestic wastewater, rainwater and groundwater from monitoring boreholes;  soil; noise, as the case may be) and the interpretation of the results and in case of exceeding the legal values, ensuring the intervention and remedial measures by informing the relevant factors;

reporting to environmental authorities–

1. Entering the requested information into the ANPM SIM electronic system
2. Waste prevention and reduction programs – carries out and ensures: reporting to the County Environmental Protection Agencies; uploading to the OMV PETROM website

3. Transmission: Waste management records to the MPAs; annual GD PRODDES waste questionnaire; waste oil questionnaire; VOC emissions assessment; Annual report on the state of the environment; other requests according to the regulatory acts.

• Responsible for the development and implementation of the Environmental Management System; Improves environmental awareness through communication, training and coaching of direct managers and employees;
• Waste management: ensures that the legal procedures regarding waste management are respected;
• Biodiversity: Ensures that the stations in protected areas operate in compliance with the approval of the custodian of the area / environmental authorization with the Plan and regulations of the protected area;
•  Environmental Fund: ensures that legal requests regarding payment obligations to the Environmental Fund are complied with. Periodically assesses the legal requirements regarding the reporting of contributions and fees related to the Environmental Fund in the case of OPM Romania and the communication of those cases that are applicable to OPM Romania as well as the preparation & review of the monthly reporting of contributions and fees for Environmental Fund purposes for OPM Romania and the transmission to the OPGS-Taxes department & consultation with other relevant departments involved in the reporting process to the Fund Administration for the Environment as provided in the Internal Standard for Reporting to the Environmental Fund (OPGS Taxes)

Your profile

• Master degree in environmental sciences or similar fields
• Relevant professional experience: 3-8 years
• Understanding the HSSE Management System and ISO 14000 principles;
• Training and presentation skills;
• Good communication skills;
• Knowledge of English (written and spoken);
• Computer knowledge;
• Knowledge of national and EU legislative requirements;
• It is always up to date with the legislation in force and Petrom's internal procedures related to the environmental area and other areas related to environmental protection (CSRD, etc.).
