Your tasks

• Execute the end-to-end management and governance of complex IT contracts, including creations, renewals, amendments, RFP/RFIs, SLAs/KPIs, and terminations across hardware, software, and services.
• Ensure contract compliance, risk assessment, and proactive management of contractual obligations, penalties, and deliverables across the IT vendor portfolio.
• Monitor vendor performance, coordinate regular governance meetings and performance reviews, and drive remediation and improvement plans with IT, Procurement, Controlling, Legal, GDPR, and other key stakeholders.
• Analyze and optimize the IT vendor and contract landscape, identifying consolidation, harmonization, and cost optimization opportunities across OMV Group (Opex/Capex).
• Steer ongoing supplier relationships, including strategic vendors, and participate in supplier selection processes and tenders.
• Support the definition, execution, and continuous improvement of the Global IT Sourcing Delivery Strategy out of OPGS IT, ensuring alignment with Global IT needs and OMV Group strategic goals.
• Evaluate stakeholder requirements and operational needs to determine the most suitable sourcing delivery models and associated processes.
• Guide and align internal stakeholders on sourcing principles, governance frameworks, and service delivery expectations.
• Contribute to budget planning and perform regular cost controlling of external IT & digital services including forecasting financial exposure of contractual commitments.
• Prepare financial insights, cost analyses, and optimization proposals for management decision-making.

Your skills

• Education: Master’s degree Business Administration, Business Informatics, IT Management, Law, or related field
• Relevant professional skills: >7 years
• At least 7 years’ relevant experience in IT contract management, procurement, sourcing, vendor and license management, and/or IT service management in a complex, international environment
• Advanced skills in contract negotiation, drafting, and execution (including KPIs/SLAs; sourcing and delivery models).
• Advanced knowledge of IT vendor management, managed service contracts, and multi-vendor governance.
• Proven expertise in ITSM, supplier selection/tendering, risk and compliance management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Fluent English; German/Romanian language skills beneficial
