Your tasks

• Is a reliable partner with very good IT Infrastructure vision, who shapes the technology demand among the business community. Implements and customizes Cloud and On-premises technical solutions and processes and ensures service delivery through continuous knowledge exchange and best practice implementations.
• Challenges vendors from technical point of view (system setup, experience based on OMV specific technical system setups, etc.) and performs technical evaluations in tender processes.
• Consults regarding technical solutions especially within the IT department and counsels project managers, service managers and business consultants regarding technical questions and possible solutions. Reports to the department manager or project managers, esp. on defined KPIs, including analysis or root cause analysis in case of technical system failures.
• Monitors strategic direction of vendors, market trends, Cloud technologies and determines their impact and value to the enterprise. Functionally coordinates external suppliers, works on detailed level (e. g. requirement specifications, network security design implementation proposals).
• Continuously works on technical and innovative improvement of services and systems as well as maintains technical documentation according to the company’s standards. Configures and implements technical changes and enhancements of existing developments according to business requirements ensuring high quality and proper data consistency.
• Investigates technically complex problems in the Cloud&On-premises and coordinates problem resolution with vendors, hardware manufacturers, and/or appropriate in-house personnel. Develops specifications and provides consultative guidance to project teams.
• Participates in projects, gives technical advice and performs technical implementations. Supports the implementation of projects from an  IT Network Security Architecture perspective.

Your profile

• Master degree: IT&C
• Relevant professional experience: > 7 years
• Advanced knowledge of business specific IT&C areas: operating hybrid infrastructure security technologies; Agile Methodology;Project Mgmt Metodology; Cloud security, Cloud Firewalls (Checkpoint, Barracuda certificated), SD-Wan, End Point Protection, Azure Security.
• Proven broad experience in powerhell scripting specific to security services provisioning automation
• Advanced knowledge: of devops practices and automation with focus on Microsoft Azure Devops; in ITIL and IT security
• Proven experience in rolling out and operating Cloud firewalls, Checkpoint, Barracuda and other IT network security technologies
• Experience: in new technology evaluation and technical change management; in setting up technical designs and governance processes to balance usability and simplicity with richness of functionality;  in designing, integrating, and managing complex solutions
• English – advanced level written and verbal
