Your tasks

• Serve as the Technical Authority for all mechanical systems and equipment, providing expert input across operations, maintenance & integrity, risk management, MoC, and quality assurance.
• Own and manage Safety Critical Elements related to mechanical systems, ensuring their performance and compliance.
• Develop and optimize the equipment Maintenance Programs in collaboration with the Maintenance & Integrity Engineer.
• Coordinate all mechanical equipment maintenance activities across the asset, ensuring alignment with operational priorities.
• Act as Contract Holder for mechanical-related contracts, overseeing performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Provide expertise in process of digitalization of mechanical workflows, contributing to initiatives that enhance production efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Provide engineering expertise to the Neptun operational team, ensuring decisions are technically sound and aligned with asset strategy.
• Lead the definition of spares strategies and ensure timely, quality supply from contractors.
• Provide technical support during the procurement phase of mechanical equipment, including specification development, bid evaluation, and vendor selection.
• Supervise, when required, the testing and acceptance of mechanical equipment, ensuring conformity with specifications, documentation, and certification requirements.

Your profile

• Education: University degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Relevant professional experience: >12 years
• Very good knowledge of Offshore Oil & Gas Production.
• Good knowledge of Gas turbine Design, Operation and Maintenance
• Excellent Mechanical Equipment knowledge.
• Knowledge in project planning and economics (OPEX, CAPEX, Maintenance and Contracting strategies).
• Advanced interpersonal and communication skills.
• Capacity to understand and solve complex issues working closely in a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience in communication tasks at management level and cross-functional team efforts.
• Ability to work well with teams; capable of building teams and to work with intercultural teams.
• Ensuring that both internal and external performance is customer driven.
• Identifying and assessing possible risks and taking the appropriate measures.
• Fluent in English.
