Your tasks

• Analyse reporting processes to identify automation opportunities and user pain points;
• Design and develop user-friendly applications (e.g., Power Apps, low-code/no-code solutions) to automate routine reporting tasks;
• Build solutions that replace manual notifications (e.g., replacing email/MS Teams confirmations with app-based buttons);
• Develop and maintain apps to facilitate data commenting, review, approval workflows, etc.;
• Integrate automation tools with source systems and reporting platforms (e.g., SAP, MS Power Platform, TM1,...);
• Update and distribute reports to end users, ensuring timely and accurate delivery through automated or manual processes as required;
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and ensure solutions meet operational needs. Collect and evaluate user feedback to inform continuous improvement of automation solutions;
• Take over, maintain, and further develop existing automation and reporting solutions as required;
• Support and document manual steps in the reporting process where automation is not yet feasible, including regular data uploads, exception handling, and user guidance.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s Degree: Computer science, information systems, business informatics, data analytics, applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, economics, finance or similar fields. Academic qualifications or professional training courses in the technical area, focusing on automation platforms (e.g. Microsoft Power Platform, UiPath, Alteryx), low-code/no-code development, app development, process automation;
• Relevant professional experience: more than 7 years;
• Proficiency in automation platforms (e.g., Power Automate, Power Apps, UiPath, Alteryx);
• Experience with low-code/no-code development and scripting (e.g., Python, VBA, JavaScript);
• Strong understanding of data flows, reporting processes, and integration with ERP/BI systems (e.g., SAP, Power BI);
• Ability to design and develop user-friendly applications to automate business processes;
• Proficiency in using GitHub or similar platforms for version control, collaborative development, and documentation management;
• Knowledge of data quality, security, and exception handling in automated and manual workflows;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (English required, German a plus).
