Your tasks

• Ensure consulting, support, project and service delivery in the area of product costing, controlling and profitability reporting (CO-PA) within Boralis group
• Ensure the translation of Borealis’ business requirements into the design of the new (SAP S4 HANA) process landscape within area of product costing, controlling and profitability reporting (CO-PA). Make sure correct finance, controlling and profitability reporting entries are generated by the order to cash, production and procurement processes.
• Design and develop tailored SAP solutions for specific business requirements. This includes translating business needs into functional and technical specifications, and ensure implementation of a stable service with an eye on continuous improvement in terms of time, quality, cost and collaboration.
• Design the implementation of finance related topics and provide clear requests and business specifications to IT. Initiate IT related activities and close cooperate with IT in projects and change requests in SAP systems in product costing, CO & CO-PA modules and respective master data activities.
• Act as efficient interface between Accounting and IT by providing substantial skills in both SAP and Finance in order to "translate" the requests into IT language
• Challenge current practices, aiming for continuous improvement, based on solid technical knowledge of the relevant SAP solutions as well as good understanding of business processes
• Be responsible for process implementation and rollout. Manage and coordinate change management and communications activities. Participate in integration testing; facilitate user acceptance testing and user trainings.
• Drive continuous optimization and digitalization. Collaborate with various functional areas to achieve optimal results in process redesign and implementation.
• Manage and continuously improve the process platform as business representative

Your profile

• Master’s degree: Economics / Cybernetics / Management / IT
• Relevant professional experience: > 9 years 
• Excellent work experience in project or consulting international environment and good understanding and knowledge of finance, management accounting and record to report processes are necessary.
• Excellent knowledge of SAP CO/CO-PA, including product costing 
• Experience in integrating complex, cross-corporate processes and data models, and/or designing strategic metrics and scorecards using SAP An
• Excellent understanding of SAP S4 HANA system, mainly in the area of product costing, controlling and profitability reporting (CO-PA)
• Experience in Scrum/Agile methodologies
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Problem solver and pro-active attitude
• Knowledge of the core processes of a chemicals company is an asset
• Deep understanding in the dependencies of a multi-system / application environment including a highly complex interface and platform setup
• Illustrates excellent customer service skills
• Proficient English User (C1/C2)
