Your tasks
- Ensure consulting, support, project and service delivery in the area of SAP Finance processes, Intercompany processes and reconciliation, Travel & Expense and Accounts Payable within Boralis group
- Ensure the translation of Borealis’ business requirements into the design of the new (SAP S4 HANA) process landscape within area of SAP FI, Intercompany reconciliation (ICMR) & Intercompany Servcie recharging (ICSR), Travel &Expense and Accounts Payable processes. Make sure correct finance entries are generated by the Accounting processes.
- Ensures design and developing of tailored SAP solutions for specific business requirements. This includes translating business needs into functional and technical specifications, and ensure proper implementation of a stable service with an eye on continuous improvement in terms of time, quality, cost and collaboration.
- Ensures implementation of proper SAP systems & tools for finance related topics and provide clear requests and business specifications to IT. Initiate IT related activities and close cooperate with IT in projects and change requests in SAP systems in FI, Travel &Expense and AP modules and respective master data activities.
- Act as efficient interface between Accounting and IT by providing support in both SAP and Finance in order to "translate" the requests into IT language
- Challenge current practices, aiming for continuous improvement, based on solid technical knowledge of the relevant SAP solutions as well as good understanding of business processes
- Ensures proper process implementation and rollout.
- Collaborates with various functional areas to achieve optimal results in process redesign and implementation.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, Record to report and Accounts Payable teams to identify business requirements and expected outcomes and ensures their implementation by the relevant IT technical team.
Your profile
- Master’s degree: Finance/ Economics / Cybernetics / Management / IT
- Relevant professional experience: > 7 years
- Advanced knowledge of finance & accounting principles and processes
- Prior work experience in project or consulting international environment and good understanding and knowledge of finance, management accounting and record to report processes are necessary.
- Advanced knowledge of SAP S4 HANA FI module, Intercompany ICMR and ICSR processes, Travel &Expense and Accounts Payable (preferably VIM)
- Advanced understanding of SAP S4 HANA system, mainly in the area of Finance &Accounting
- Advanced communication and influencing skills
- Problem solver and pro-active attitude
- Knowledge of the core processes of a chemicals company is an asset
- Illustrates very good customer service skills
- Proficient English User (C1/C2)
- Able to elaborate reports and analysis in order to support / optimize end to end processes.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of related legislations/norms, internal rules/guidelines, in multiple areas/team level.
- Ability to work in both conventional and remote teams, using the new ways of working such as a suite of communication tools to collaborate in the digital workplace.
- Ability to define individual objectives in line with the department objectives; supports more junior colleagues for the definition of objectives, career development and identification of training needs.
- Advanced execution skills proved by ability to adjust new tasks & situations in an effective manner, showing flexibility in the way of thinking and acting.
- Advanced ability to innovate, suggesting improvements to the work related to x-functional / discipline activities, developing and participation in developing solutions to complex problems and identify opportunities to improve activity.
- Advanced communication, negotiation and interaction skills, strong decision taker and promoter of management decisions, good presentation skills.
