Your tasks

• Develop and align the technology design and integration strategy for enabling and business platforms in line with OMV Group’s digitalization agenda and stakeholder requirements.
• Monitor technology market trends, platform innovations, vendor strategies and their applicability for integration into the global IT landscape.
• Provide expert guidance in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of integration technologies, middleware, and platform services.
• Design, document and execute integration patterns and standards supporting interoperability, data exchange and end-to-end business processes.
• Enable data-/AI-driven business capabilities by ensuring that platform designs and integrations support data consistency, metadata management, and enterprise-wide information flows.
• Support cross-functional teams in identifying and leveraging cross-platform synergies, managing interdependencies, reducing duplication and increasing scalability.
• Collaborate with product, architecture and operations teams to ensure designed solutions meet security, compliance, and operational efficiency requirements.
• Support the operationalization and continuous improvement of IT governance, standards, controls and best practices for platform and technology management.
• Challenge the current technology environment, proactively identifying opportunities for modernization, automation or efficiency gains, especially in platform integration.
• Drive business value by identifying how integration and platform capabilities can enhance operational effectiveness, improve process efficiency, and support digital transformation.

Your skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant field
• Relevant professional experience: > 7 years
• ≥ 7 years relevant experience in technology design, integration, and enterprise platforms
• Experience in designing, integrating, and managing complex solutions
• Excellent knowledge of Automation, Analytics, AI,…
• Proven ability to design, implement and govern technical solutions that span multiple technology platforms or business domains
• Strong experience with new technology evaluation, technical change management, and solution architecture
• Fluent English; German/Romanian language skills beneficial
