Your tasks

  • Group wide responsibility as regards to Internal Control System (ICS) of OMV Petrom Group by ensuring the execution of the relevant activities (with support of divisional ICS coordinators and ICS responsible of the Shared Service Center); acts also as a local ICS coordinator for OMV Petrom Corporate function
  • Leads the development, implementation, roll-out and ongoing optimisation of OMV Petrom and Petrom Group wide finance processes and related concepts including regulations (e.g. Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash, Invest to Divest, Record to Report, Intercompany, Treasury, Inventory etc)
  • Leads/supports the regular process reviews, streamlining and automating activities within the company, including continuous improvement of the quality of reports and analysis provided to stakeholders.
  • Manage key internal and external stakeholders related to ICS, relevant regulations, special projects/reports, such as corporate & business departments in OMV Petrom, subsidiaries and OMV Group, as well as external and internal audit, external regulating authorities etc.
  • Supports Finance organization on various issues, especially for adequate implementation or update of processes in order ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations, corporate governance rules and ICS.
  • Defines sound proposals to improve procedures and guidelines and provides input for internal policies
  • Leads, supervises or coordinates projects / special projects assigned by direct manager, VP Finance and/or CFO, including cross divisional projects.
  • Development of concepts and harmonised standard finance processes in alignment with the functional leads of corporate finance (Rule-setter)
  • Assess implications and align with business representatives (e.g. nominated Business Process Managers) implications of finance processes to the business processes and vice versa

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree: Economics
  • Relevant professional experience: > 9 years
  • Work experience in a comparable position (e.g. finance, controlling, risk, audit areas, coordination activities etc.)
  • Excellent understanding of cross-functional relations and interdependencies
  • Structured thinking, ability to deeply understand and analyse workflows, end to end processes, capabilities of adaptation or development of new solutions through analytical and innovative thinking
  • Demonstrates awareness of work to be done in the department and a general knowledge of functions performed by other Finance departments
  • Knowledge of: Accounting Law & Regulations (RAS, IFRS); of applicable fiscal rules and regulations; of SAP (FI/CO/MM) ERP
  • Professional degree of ACCA, CECCAR, CAFR, IT systems, process manager, project manager or similar is recommended
  • Fluent in Romanian or Romanian as a mother language; advanced level of English
