Your responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate complex finance projects and special assignments, ensuring achievement of project objectives and milestones.
- Define, allocate, and monitor project team tasks, adjusting priorities as needed to meet stakeholder requirements.
- Act as a key contributor to the Closing and Reporting department, ensuring high-quality, timely financial closing and reporting for OMV Petrom SA and the Group.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, RAS, and Group Accounting Manual; address complex accounting treatments and consolidation topics.
- Plan and implement process improvements, system updates, and best practices within the Financial Reporting department.
- Support audit activities, providing required information to internal and external auditors.
- Foster strong collaboration across Corporate Functions, Business Divisions, and GBS.
- Coach and guide team members, supporting their professional development and ensuring effective delegation of tasks.
- Provide expert advice on accounting treatments for business acquisitions, disposals, and special projects.

Your skills
- University degree in Finance.
- Over 9 years of relevant professional experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Advanced knowledge of IFRS, RAS, accounting laws and regulations, consolidation processes, and accounting principles.
- Experience with financial reporting software and strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- In-depth understanding of all accounting processes: general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, cost accounting, cash management, fixed assets, and investments.
- Strong knowledge of financial audit rules and procedures.
- Advanced communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills; ability to work under pressure and manage multiple assignments.
- Proactive, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Ability to work effectively in both conventional and remote teams, using digital collaboration tools.
