Sr. PM SWP Offshore Electrical Commissio- Determined Period

Your tasks

•    Provide safety leadership for the offshore HUC campaign.  Daily walkdowns of the work.  Daily engagement with the workforce. Take part in daily  toolbox  talks with the construction crew and weekly offshore safety meetings.  Develop safety initiatives with EPC-1 contractor.  Comply with all HSSE requirements of the project, company and legal requirements of working in Romania.
•    Act as the primary electrical commissioning focal point offshore.
•    Supervise and coordinate electrical commissioning activities with EPC-1 contractor, vendors, and subcontractors.
•    Ensure alignment with the overall commissioning execution plan and system handover strategy.
•    Review and endorse electrical commissioning test procedures, check sheets, and test records.
•    Ensure proper energization procedures are followed, including LOTO (Lock-Out/Tag-Out) and isolation plans.
•    Oversee functional testing of electrical systems including switchgear, MCCs, UPS, transformers, lighting, earthing, and protection systems.
•    Participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, and permit-to-work processes.
•    Verify compliance with ATEX, IEC, and other applicable offshore electrical standards.
•    Ensure that ATEX integrity is maintained through the commissioning phase of the work.
•    Actively participate in system walkdowns, punch listing, and completion of electrical systems for handover to operations.
•    Ensure all documentation, redlines, and as-builts are accurate and complete.
•    Facilitate the transition from commissioning to operations, including training and familiarization of operations personnel.
•    Support Hot Commissioning phases of the work, particularly around the first firing of the GTG’s on gas and tuning of the DEH topsides equipment.

Your Profile

•    BEng or equivalent, and Chartered Engineer or or relevant extensive experience in a similar offshore position / mega project. 
•    Relevant professional experience: more than 9 years’ experience in Oil & Gas projects in international environment
-    Medical certificate Fit for working at Height/ Fit for working on platforms
-    OPITO approved offshore medical certificate
-    BOSIET certificate (for cold climate)
-    CAEBS training
•    Previous work experience for electrical commissioning work in oil and gas, with also some experience working offshore.
•    Working knowledge of ATEX regulations and having been in a previous position of responsibility commissioning ATEX rated equipment.
•    Experience of commissioning GTG systems and working with voltages of 6.6kV and above. 
•    Self-motivated and able to clearly communicate with Client and contractors at all levels. 
•    Good presentation skills. 
•    Good written communication skills
