Sr. Project Manager Capital Projects- Determined Period

Your tasks

•    Provide safety leadership for the offshore HUC campaign.  Daily walkdowns of the work.  Daily engagement with the workforce.  Take part in daily toolbox talks with the construction crew and weekly offshore safety meetings.  Develop safety initiatives with EPC-1 contractor.  Comply with all HSSE requirements of the project, company and legal requirements of working in Romania.
•    Act as the primary mechanical commissioning focal point offshore.
•    Supervise and coordinate mechanical commissioning activities with EPC-1 contractor, vendors, and subcontractors.
•    Ensure alignment with the overall commissioning execution plan and system handover strategy.
•    Review and endorse mechanical commissioning test procedures, check sheets, and test records.
•    Supervise and witness pre-commissioning and commissioning of mechanical systems such as pumps, generators, HVAC, and general mechanical packages. 
•    Ensure proper alignment, flushing, leak testing, and mechanical integrity checks are performed.
•    Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO).
•    Actively participate in system walkdowns, punch listing, and mechanical completion of systems for handover to operations.
•    Ensure that all mechanical equipment is subject to all preservation routines as deemed necessary by the vendor.
•    Ensure all redlines, as-builts, and commissioning dossiers are accurate and complete.
•    Assist in the transition from commissioning to operations, including training and familiarization of operations personnel
•    Support during hot commissioning particularly on the first startup of the GTG’s and fuel gas systems using fuel gas and the first operation of the TEG Regen package.  Provide support to the hot commissioning / startup team.

Your profile

•    Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Sc./B.Eng./M.Sc.) or relevant extensive experience in a similar offshore position / mega project
•    Minimum of 6 years proven capability in an engineering design company
•    At least 12 months experience of site-based project work involving field engineering, construction, commissioning, operations, or maintenance

o    Medical certificate Fit for working at Height/ Fit for working on platforms
o    OPITO approved offshore medical certificate
o    BOSIET training
o    CAEBS
•    Thorough knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of Rotating (Including process gas compressors (Centrifugal / Reciprocating / Screw type), Gas turbines, High energy pumps etc) and Static package equipment design and analysis (including fitness for service assessment, contactors, pressure vessels, Heat Exchangers, Storage tanks and complex packages viz Gas Dehydration package etc).
•    Thorough awareness of relevant international codes and standards
•    Familiar with the typical software packages that are used for Rotating and Static package equipment design and selection
•    Experience of participation in HAZOP, HAZID and SIL Rating studies.
•    Experience with Concept Selection and FEED studies.
•    Extensive experience with piping design for modular, skid packaged equipment
