This position is under Neptun Deep project. Based on business needs and identified capabilities, the work place for this role could be set-up in one of the following 2 locations respectively: Bucharest, Romania or London/ UK.

Your tasks

  • Responsible for executing procurement activities within and for the project and for coordinating procurement activities, including third-party procurement services. Coordinates the bidding process within the project (identifying suppliers, applying framework contracts, specifications, bid evaluations, proposing and aligning the shortlist of suppliers for negotiations, negotiations, and contracting) in accordance with internal directives and project needs.
  • Defines the contract content, aligned with the project team and internal stakeholders (Legal, Insurance, Taxes, HSSE, and other involved stakeholders).
  • Executes/coordinates procurement activities for specific projects, including the development of project supply plans, conducts specific source-to-contract activities and monitors the activities of colleagues from supporting procurement categories.
  • Responsible for executing allocated procurement and contract management activities related to the drilling/well-related project.
  • Manages the allocated contracts related to Neptun, including implementation, loss identification and claims; provides consultancy on contract compliance based on risks, in accordance to OMVP best practices and procedures/governance. Leads delivery and management of contracts and their amendments, as well as related claims.
  • Acts as a single point of contact and is responsible for procurement activities and contract implementation / management.
  • Provides support and implements the project’s contractual strategy to ensure the most efficient use of financial resources.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or relevant extensive experience in a similar position/ mega project
  • Relevant professional experience: > 15 years
  • Experience in procurement process, contract management, claims management and project portfolio management, project management process, contracting models, etc.
  • Constructive attitude and proactivity towards solving inherent problems
  • High level of professionalism, integrity and honesty
  • Experience in Contracts & Procurement management / proceses for Major Development projects in O&G, preferable offshore related
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Disponibility to travel
