Your tasks

  • Shape and guide the operations and maintenance strategies as part of the Operations Leadership Team
  • Supervise and Influence EPC Contractors ORA and Maintenance requirements and dovetail to the overarching project objectives.
  • Take responsibility for Operations' HAZOP close out actions and Interface with the EPC site team regarding re-HAZOP/SIL/LOPA close out activities.
  • Collaborate with EPC contractors to aid in the development of the specific Operations deliverables required under the Contract
  • Develop and marry any relevant Petrom Operational deliverables to those of the Contractor to produce a full suite of Approved Neptun documents ‘ready to operate’. Support refinement of the ePTW risk assessment module, specifically the offshore “icons”.
  • Mature the operations strategy in collaboration with the ORA team to ensure a full suite of operations procedures are developed, reviewed and Approved ready for start up with the EPC Contractor
  • Ensure the EPC Contractors meet their commitments with regards data provision in a timely manner
  • Assist in the coordinated ramp up of operations personnel during EPC contracting from design through onshore and offshore, commissioning and pre-commissioning
  • Develop and build the Operations Team to a “ready to operate’ status, fully trained and competent
  • Support with experience and in depth exertise the development of the organizational model post start up
  • Collaborate on the training and competence plan via access to process simulators and the digital twin components provided by the EPC contractors in conjunction with OMVPetrom
  • Integrate the operations team into the project team ensuring operations requirements to the design are progressed throughout the contruction and commissioning phases of the project.
  • Support and Assure the development of OPEX of the asset.

Your profile

  • Preferably Master Degree or equivalent qualified in Engineering (i.e. Petroleum, Industrial, Mechanical) or in Industrial Chemistry.
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in a similar role on offshore major/mega projects
  • Visible HSSE Leader
  • Proven Leadership skills in EPC Contract Environments
  • Track record in EPC project delivery as part of the Operations and Start Up Team
  • Demonstrable record in operations input to the engineering process
  • Experience in Operations Readiness and Assurance
  • Experience in Maintenance & Logistics Build Support
  • Knowledge preferred of Digital Twins or Onshore Operating and Control Environment (ICE rooms etc.)
  • Good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
