About the role:

The project is a deepwater offshore development located in the Bulgarian Black Sea. A greenfield project with local and regional importance.

Manages and delivers concept engineering studies during Identify, Assess and Select Phases of OMV Offshore Bulgaria projects.

• Develop and evaluate offshore gas development concepts, including FPU, wellhead platforms, subsea tie-back concepts, and pipeline systems.
• Perform concept screening studies, trade-off analyses, and option selection using techno-economic, safety, and operability criteria.
• Define basis of design (BOD) and key design philosophies for selected concepts.
• Oversee conceptual engineering calculations for process, mechanical, structural, marine, and pipeline systems.
• Coordinate and integrate inputs from multidisciplinary teams (process, subsea, mechanical, electrical, structural, HSE, marine).
• Support flow assurance, reservoir, HSSE and production engineering interfaces.
• Lead or support technical risk assessments, HAZID, HAZOP, and constructability reviews at concept level.
• Support regulatory engagement and approvals during early project phases.
• Provide technical input for project economics, schedule development, and decision gates.
• Assist in pre-FEED and FEED preparation, including scope definition and contractor bid evaluations.

Your Profile

• University degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. Experience in the oil and gas industry, with multiple senior management and international roles.
• University degree in oil & gas, engineering, Chemical, Mechanical, Petroleum , Master Diploma is an advantage
• Relevant professional experience: > 15 years
• 10+ years in offshore O&G with concept/select experience
• 5+ Management experience
• Experience in field development planning and full project lifecycle
• Ability or experience to use simulation tools, such as Questor, Hysys, etc.
• Excellent understanding of the technical and commercial challenges with onshore and offshore development activities
• Track record of managerial positions in E&P industry, demonstrated HSSE leadership, ability to lead without authority, effective working practices with multi-disciplinary and inter-cultural teams
• A high personal commitment to HSE performance
• Fluent command of the English language (spoken and written).
