Your tasks

  • Lead month-end, year-end, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring accurate financial results and timely reporting.
  • Prepare and deliver regular and ad-hoc financial analyses, reports, and insights to support management decision-making.
  • Monitor business performance against budgets and forecasts, identify variances, and recommend actions to improve profitability and efficiency.
  • Coordinate company-wide planning activities, including strategic plans, budgets, forecasts, and financial data consolidation.
  • Manage and control cost, marketing, and investment budgets, ensuring proper budget setup, monitoring, and implementation of changes.
  • Maintain and continuously improve reporting systems, controlling tools, and financial processes to enhance data quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure accurate Controlling master data and oversee Controlling-related processes within SAP and other business systems.
  • Support audits, compliance requirements, and adherence to OMV financial policies, guidelines, and reporting standards.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives, cost-saving projects, and business performance enhancement measures across the organization.
  • Provide expert financial advice, training, and support on investment projects, commercial initiatives, finance, tax, and other business-related topics as required.

Your profile

  • University degree (MA) in economics, finance, accounting.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Solid understanding of Controlling processes (closing, budgeting, forecasting, planning).
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with Business Management and other stakeholders.
  • High accuracy and accountability in handling sensitive financial data.
  • Analytical and structured thinking skills.
  • Ability to innovate and improve reporting systems, business processes, and operational.
  • Proficient in MS Office; SAP experience is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in Slovak (C2) and English (B2/C1), Hungarian is an advantage
