Your tasks

  • Ensure all activities are completed in line with company procedures, internal regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain compliance with financial controls and accounting standards throughout the invoice processing process.
  • Prepare reports, analyses, statistics, and audit-related documentation within agreed deadlines.
  • Provide support and timely responses to internal stakeholders, customers, and business partners.
  • Identify process issues and risks, and recommend improvements and corrective actions.
  • Support initiatives to simplify, standardize, optimize, and automate invoice processing activities.
  • Maintain and update process documentation, work instructions, and training materials.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on projects, resolve operational issues, and promptly report errors or concerns to management.

Your profile

 

  • University  degree Min. Bc., professional experience 2-3 years.
  • Good knowledge of finance and accounting principles, preferably gained in retail, commercial, or shared services environments.
  • Experience with invoice processing and understanding of accounts payable processes is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with SAP and other financial systems, with the ability to use them effectively in daily operations.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation, company policies, internal controls, and accounting procedures.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to change and identify process improvements.
  • Fluent Slovak language skills (written and spoken), good understanding of Czech, and English at business communication level.

Short-term incentives in the form of yearly bonus based on OMV group results.
The employment contract will be concluded with OMV Slovensko s.r.o.
Place of work: Einsteinova 25, 851 01 Bratislava, Slovakia
Start day: As soon as possible, latest 1.12.2026.
Contract type: full-time, 40 hours/week.
