Your tasks

• Lead, develop and manage the department ensuring high performance, employee engagement, succession planning and capability development. Accountable for the timely, accurate and compliant execution of all accounting, reporting, deal processing, invoicing, settlement and payment activities within the assigned scope. 
• Ensure efficient execution of monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities as well as trading backoffice operations through effective coordination of resources, systems and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Own service delivery performance and continuously monitor operational KPIs, controls, workload distribution and service quality to ensure agreed business and customer expectations are met.
• Act as the primary management interface for Business, Finance Managers, Controlling and other stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration, issue resolution and alignment on priorities and service requirements.
• Contribute to the development of accounting, governance and trading operations standards and ensure their effective implementation across the operations.
• Drive and implement process optimization, digitalization, automation, organizational and systems-related initiatives across Trading Accounting and Trading Back Office to improve efficiency, quality and scalability.
• Ensure appropriate organizational structures, resource planning, workforce management and delivery capacity to support changing business requirements, growth and transformation priorities.

Your profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or equivalent
• Relevant professional experience: > 9 years
• More than 5 years of leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Local GAAP accounting and reporting requirements as well as internal controls and governance standards.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and collaboration skills across business, finance and management functions.
• Strong organizational, resource planning and execution capabilities with the ability to prioritize competing demands and deliver results in a dynamic business environment.
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities with proven ability to lead, develop, motivate and organize high-performing teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to manage complex operational, organizational and regulatory challenges.
• Strong IT affinity with hands-on experience with accounting systems or accounting interfaces and related finance and trading systems.
• Fluency in English
